Why I collect it

- To troubleshoot your device, service, or setup more effectively.
- To schedule work, provide follow-up help, or complete a job you asked for.
- To send Helpful Hints updates if you signed up for them.
- To keep the site and forms functioning safely.
What I do not do
- I do not sell your information.
- I do not rent your information.
- I do not collect extra personal data just for fun.
- I do not use your information for unrelated marketing nonsense.
How long I keep it
As a general rule, customer messages, device notes, and support details are purged within 30 days after the work or conversation wraps up.
If there is an active follow-up, scheduling issue, billing need, or legal reason to keep something a little longer, I may keep only what is necessary for that purpose.
If you sign up for the newsletter, your email stays on that list until you unsubscribe or ask me to remove it.
How I protect it
I keep things simple: access is limited, I do not share information casually, and I only keep what is useful for the job. If I need device or account information to help you, I treat it like something private, because it is.
